I have a 16:9 video which I want to put on a DVD, and the idea is that it will crop it to Pan-Scan or LBX on 4:3 sets, depending on the DVD player's settings. I have been able to do this in DVDLab Pro, but in Scenarist, the video becomes LBX'ed both when the DVD player is set to 4:3 and 4:3 Pan-Scan. I have a menu that's working perfectly with Wide, LBX and Pan-Scan versions, but I'm stuck with just Wide and LBX for the video itself. Any ideas or suggestions how to go about this?

  2. Hi-

Open the DVD in PGCEdit and right-click the video, then Domain Streams Attributes. If you find it says 16:9 Automatic Letterbox, change it to 16:9 Automatic Pan&Scan. OK->Save and Test. It won't solve your Scenarist problem, but if it works for you, at least you'll know there's a workaround.
