OK, so for various reasons, I'm encoding my DVDs using StaxRip to encode the video into iPod-compatible h264 (MP4) while using BeLight to encode my audio into iPod-compatible AAC and then I use YAMB to mux the two streams together.
Now, when Staxrip demuxes the audio of my audio files, I get files with names like:
EP11A T03 2_0ch 128Kbps DELAY 40ms.ac3
I can only assume that StaxRuo automatically inputs that 40 ms delay for me. Or do I have to do it myself?
Also, do I have to input the delay when importing the stream into YAMB? Or can I just skip it (I want perfect sync)?
