i have been wanting to ask a question and can't figure out where to; so i'l try here.

i bought a Phillips DVP 5140 and want to know if there is a way to STOP the "pause" logo (or what ever that is) and the others from showing up on the screen when i press the commands..

i want to layer photos on my DVD's using my Sima A/V Mixer and these get into the picture.
also,, when i zoom; the zoom dimensions appear too and are unwanted in my scenes.

    can anyone help me?
i will re-mix "anything" that makes noise or flashes on a screen!!

A few models have options in the menu to disable the display for some commands. If there isn't a menu option, then it can't be done.

    thanks for your reply..
i'll look some more in the menu;; but,, for $49 USD,, what can we expect..

i get around it by zooming in and that seems to do what i want..

then,, i can just "hide" it with some Sima Mixer Video efx..

i really want to get more into DVD'ing;; i do great on my own;; but as usual;; i am in the dark ages of genious.. ?? (sp)..
