    Hey guys,

I recently got a Sony digital camera that enables me to make MPEG movies. My girlfriend and I went on a trip with many friends during Christmas time and we shot like 800 photos and close to a 100 little MPEG movies. Now is the time to burn DVDs to gine to all of them. A friend of mine owns a software called DVD photo slideshow. It takes a bundle of pictures and automates the slideshow by changing every picture after a certain time. It sort of creates a movie encoded using the traditional .VOB DVD file system.

I would like to know if any of you has a method that I could use to integrate a MPEG movie here and there in this slideshow. Every movie is linked to a few pictures and I would love to be able to activate both format together, MPEG and JPEG, in the same sequence. I mean, the resulting slideshow has every specifications just like a DVD movie. Does anyone know how I could insert a MPEG movie within this slideshow. Or maybe there is another way of proceeding? I’m really stuck here guys, I need help desperately.

I was thinking about converting it all in DIVX or XVID. That same friend uses Dr. DIVX and said we could convert MPEG and .VOB to DIVX. I am not sure if that would help me though. Do you have any ideas. Could you please help me here, I need help!

    Thanx in advance

I know nothing about dvd photo slideshow but using proshow or MemoriesOnTV you can easily add both images and video clips.

    Thanx for the reply Baldrick,
I have been looking around for a while to finally get a software that would do it.

I had a look at this guide:https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=176635 and read it completely, comments included. On the print screens, the video added to Memories on TV are AVI files. My camera is shooting MPG videos.

Do I have to reencode them into AVI format or will TMPGenc get that job done for me?
    If so, any recommended software?
