  1. Want to install all my codecs seperate. I'm just looking for a free div3 codec or just a codec for div's only.
Don't give in to DVD2ONE, that leads to the dark side.

By your reply I can only assume that another member has treated you like a newbie by tossing you the same reply. For that I must apologize for my fellow brethren of videohelp. In answer to your query yes, I have been to the tool section. There are several DIV codecs available for download. I felt it was prudent to get some feedback on said codecs before I haphazardly download and install them.

  4. If it's for playing only, install the latest divx 6 codec. It should be able to play divx files and even generic mpeg-4 files

  5. Yes, it will be for playing "only". The link from the one in the tools section will install a divx "player" a web player a converter as well as the codec if I'm not mistaken.

Do I really want all that?

Will it's player interfer with WMPlayer or is it a hidden overlay?
