    Hello,
I have a DV-AVI file, wich i would like to rezise and null transform. After adding these filters and pressing F7, the outcome file is 10 times bigger. (the video is on full processing mode, and in the compression it is set on uncompressed, and the audio is from the source - uncompressed as well).

I don't understand why the file size is increasing so much (my filters are not making big changes in the picture).

Is there a way to apply these filters, and having around the same file size? (I don't want to compress it)

    Thanks!!

    Tom

If you save using a DV codec I think it would be the same size? If your goal is to get the file to DVD video then consider frame serving from Virtualdub to an MPEG encoder.

DV is a compressed video format but uncompressed is not compressed so you will get a bigger file. Select a dv codec under compression instead like panasonic dv codec or cedocida dv codec.
