    i got a cd of the net and on the id tag of the the songs i put them in order as it is in the album like from 1-11 and when i go to the album on my ipod its in very different order then the id tag. why is that and how do i fix it?

    Create a playlist in iTunes. Drag the tunes into that playlist in the correct order (one at a time). Check the playlist to verify they're in the correct order. Drag the playlist to your iPod. In the iPod, select "Playlist" and they'll play in the proper order.

    Are you using the Track ( ) of ( ) tag fields in iTunes?
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

    i have this exact same issue with my ipod with certain albums. it's a serious pain because when i have my ipod plugged into my computer the tracklists are still in proper order when i view my ipod in tunes.
