Hey everyone, I would have posted this in the correct forum but I only just now registered. Anyway, I've decided to start encoding my movies in WMV so that they will be playable by an XBox 360 should I decide to get one, and I found AutoMKV through this site. Problem is, I always like to preserve multichannel sound from AC3 soundtracks, but AutoMKV only seems to want to let me choose "Stereo", even though it correctly identifies the audio track as AC3 6ch.

On my system I already have installed WMEncoder, WMP11, AviSynth, and of course the OSS AC3Filter. Encoding a movie in WMV w/2channel sound seems to work just fine, but I need my surround sound!

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I don't know if you can preserve the ac3 but you can convert to wma 5.1, see http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=942306#post942306
