Hi, I'm using Nero Vision 4 to burn a VCD of an AVI video file. I have the K-Lite codec full file installed, but when I'm previewing my avi file on the Nero program, the video picture is not one but three screens. Using the VLC player, the avi video is fine, but when the preview on Nero is screwed up. I don't want to go ahead with burning because I think what will result will be a VCD with a picture split into three.

As you can see in the following pictures, the picture is split into three and the color is off at the two on the side.

Is there a codec I'm missing?

VLC uses it's own decoders, which is why it works. If you see this in other players, like Nero, then the chances are your codecs are screwed because you chose to install a codec pack.

I would start by uninstalling k-lite as best you can, cleaning up what ever mess it leaves behind, and promising never to install a codec pack again.

Then use G-spot or avicodec to determine what codec is actually required, and install just that codec.
