noob question about dvd & vobs

I have a dvd with menus that is full of music videos. I have copies the video_ts folder to my hd with the vobs and ifos., etc. the music videos are each separate chapters. I want to remove some of the chapters and then put it back on a new dvd such that when I insert it into the player, it automatically plays.

can someone point me in the right direction?

I would try DVDShrink first. It will do the autoplay part easy enough. Not sure about the chapter removing, but use the Reauthor part and you should be able to choose what you want. If it already fits on a DVD-5, it won't shrink it anymore and you should preserve the existing quality.

If no luck there, you could use VOB2MPG and extract out the whole DVD as one large MPEG-2 file, edit it, then reauthor it.
