  1. WHEN I TRY TO CONVERT MOVIES WITH ODD FRAME THROUGH TEMPG IT WILL STOP AFTER A PORTION HAS ENCODED AND GIVE ME A ERROR OF AN ILLEAGAL FLOATING DECIMAL PIONT.

  2. there is a little freeware program called RAD video tools that you can use to convert a video to any frame rate you wish while keeping the audio in sync. You can find it here:

    it also converts "*.mov" videos

  3. will this help with problem of the error that i am getting in tmpge that says ( illegal floating decimal piont). I am assuming that the abnormal frame rate is the cause but I am not sure.

  4. Illegal floating point can also be a result of a corrupt frame. Try playing the avi in Virtual dub. It will stop and give you an error message if there is a bad frame.
