I was wondering if there was anyway to transfer video (WMV) to a dvd recorder via firewire. I bought the video but the DRM is driving me nuts. Thanks.

Firstly, you need a DVD recorder with Firewire input that can recognize a PC connected to it. Many don't - they only recognize camcorders.
Then, you need to convert the WMV file to DV AVI - you can use Windows Movie Maker.
Or, you can convert the WMV to MPEG2 and burn a DVD if you have a PC-based DVD recorder.John Miller -
Try fairuse version1.3 (since you did buy it). It worked on a purchased wmv I had. That "should" leave you with a untouched wmv for later conversion or leave it at wmv. It might not work on all video though.
