I've using DVD Movie Factory, it is very friendly, and menus are kind of cool, but I want something better. Which software should I use ?

Check The Menu I created it's a exact replica of the original DVD menu, too bad I made it in flash and I can't use it for my DVD Rip.

That more or less what I would like to use for my
DVD rips, what should I use ?

Almost forgot the magic word: HELP PLEASE !!

  4. hello,
you can export the Flash movie to AVI, then convert that to DVD compliant MPEG, which can be used as a menu. as for authoring the menu, try http://www.Doom9.org.

    Thanks for your reply.
I can't do that because the buttons won't work, as you can see this menu is not just a movie.

  6. Well, Pepe, that's just it:

Experts don't use Flash to create animated menus. Adobe After Effects perhaps, but not Flash.

It's like asking Van Gogh which crayons he used to create the painting Starry Night -- he didn't use crayon at all.

  7. To make the same menu you gonna need something like Pinnacle impression DVD-Pro, Scenarist ....

Impression is the cheapest and it works very find.

You have to export your Flash movie as a avi and encode it to a DVD compliant mpeg2 file and after this you have to make the all the menu elements in Photoshop. What and how is up to your authoring softwares needs.
