Hello. My name is Tammy and just bought AnyDVD for my spanish dvd's that I have. I am brand new to this kind of software and am needing help!! AnyDVD website says that you can remove the region coding off any dvd and be able to play it in any dvd player....how does it do that? Can someone please explain to me what exactly I have to do in order to accomplish code removal? I am very frustrated and don't really know what I am doing.

AnyDVD will "remove" region coding if you play DVDs on your computer. If you want to play the DVD on your standalone dvd player you need to rip and backup to a new dvd using for example dvd shrink...or "hack" your standalone dvd player, www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks . And your standalone dvd player must also support PAL DVDs.

My dvd player is not in the list of hacks. Its a fairly new dvd recorder....

So how do I go about backing up the dvd? I haven't ever done this before...
