Hi,
(Sorry for a not-so-brief question)
This is my problem:-
1. I have made a video cd with 28 video files.
2. After making the cd with nero, the files were all in .dat format.
3. Then I tried to open the first video in the MPEGAV folder in the cd, in windows media player 11, jet audio, real player, mplayer, vlc media player. The video time is very much visible in all these players from start to end, i.e. the seek bar slides from start to end - the problem is there is no video nor audio. I have installed the codecs too.
4. The funny thing here is that out of 28 videos in the cd, except the first 8 videos all the video files are playing well.
5. My main concern here is that these files are my family function videos and I would love to have them back and these are my only records.
I know there is a solution to this but I don't know what is it? Probably a techy person who is reading this now may suggest a solution to this. I would be really thankful! Please help. Your help will be much appreciated.
One more thing - I tried to rectify this with Isobuster - this cute software gave me a distant hope; i.e..,. when I extracted the first .dat file in the cd using Isobuster in to my desktop and played it with vlc media player it showed me a gist of my menu with those non-opening files that I created using Nero.
