    I have a friend that just bought a sony RDR HX710 dvd/pvr. We are having problems the picture is in b/w and roling. We live in the US where the tv's use ntsc not pal. Here is my question how do I change the output from pal to ntsc???

    If available, that option is usually located in the video setup section of the dvd player menu.
