Id like to know how to setup the MENU button on the remote to react differently depending on what the last menu was that the user was on. For instance, if he plays a title from the APPLES section and decided he doesnt want to see the rest of the clip after all, he would want to return to the menu where this title was fired from. And I guess the best way to set this up is to enable the MENU button right? So, assuming I am on the right track with this assumption, what if I have many menus (ie. apples, oranges, pears, etc) and the titles are specific to each menu. i want the MENU button to return the user to the proper menu (Rather than always going back to the root menu, which for me is meaningless because its a language selection splash page). Is this doable and how so? (can anyone guide me with coding it please?)

I don't know about DLP, but in DVDAuthorGUI, this can be done by clicking "Tools->Use Jumptable" before adding any titles to the project. This will turn on the jumptable, which will set some registers and add some commands to the authored DVD to make sure that when you press the menu button on the remote, the DVD goes to the most recently used menu.

If I understand you correctly what you want to do, can't you just use the drop down under the connections window? Click on a title, then change where you want it to go on menu button (on remote), using the drop down.

What he said. You can make the menu button do practically anything from the dropdown list of options provided. Left-click on the relevant "movie" file in Connections window then right-click to choose various menu button options.

Ah, but in my case, I cannot assign a specific title to a specific menu because that will depend on whether the user is viewing contents of DVD in french or english. They choose language at ROOT menu.

So if using code, I can program the title to go to LAST SELECTED MENU, there will never be a language issue because the french and english menus are distinct. I just want to tell each title 'Hey, if the user presses MENU on his/her remote while you are playing, just return to the menu that called you.'

Sounds simple eh? I dont know how to implement it, but surely someone knows how?
