    Is there a tool that will automatically slice mpegs into (say) 20 Mb chunks.

    Normally I'd use Quickpar but the chunks need to stay as valid mpegs.

    You can try http://www.ffprojects.net/tssplitter/ Says Transport Stream, but if I recall it works fine with mpeg2

    That one is the most GUI friendly.

    Lots of ways to do it via command line.

    Worked fine on an mpeg-2 and ludicrously easy to use.
