I'm looking to compare two DVD's supposedly from the same "batch"(same concert from a weed or vine group). One has visable errors during one song....the other does not. I've seen people post numbers from an MDS file for comparisons but i'm not sure where the get the numbers to post them from.

    Thanks...

I always thought MDS files were for DVDDecrypter / IMGBurn, and that the checksum files were MD5 files. Could be wrong though ...
    If in doubt, Google it.

HashOnClick is what I use for this. It does MD5, SHA-1 and CRC-32 hashes. It's at the bottom of this page:

Good point Jim....I'll have to check into exactly where these guys are coming from. I have automatically assumed that it is DVDDecrypter's .MDS files that I need to be looking at....maybe I'm wrong.
ImgBurn does give me an MD5 in the log while in Verify Mode:
    I 20:02:29 Device MD5: cfd0375d23657742fc4c92da2d00b203
    I 20:02:29 Image MD5: f5a231a7c3f0b5602f55bbdd26f0b673
....I was hoping to skip that process, create .MDS files and read them...again....I'm probably wrong.
And thank you Squash for the link.
