Since i want 2 subtitles on my SVCD i have to mux with I-Author, right? Or is there outher proggs to make selectable subs, if so what and how?

ATM i have a file muxed in I-Authors muxer with subtitles.
Now I want to Author with menus and chapters. Since i find best result easiest comes with TSCV (VCDImager) i would prefere yo use that. But whan i try to make a bin it results in this:

    >Starting VCDxBuild process...
    >
    >initializing libvcd 0.7.11 [cygwin/i686]

    >mpeg scan: pack header code (0x000001ba) expected, but >0x01006000 found (buflen = 2324)
    >input mpeg stream has been deemed invalid -- aborting

No I don't believe an I-Author created .mps file can be used in anything other than the I-Author program.

There is a new svcd multiplexor which is actually better anyways. Submux, which can be found on the dvd2svcd homepage can create both cvd style as well as svcd style subs, wheareas I-Author can only create the less supported cvd style. Submux is freeware and does appear to still have some bugs. I'm not sure if a final version is out yet but I have had some success with it. It's definitely better to use then I-Author though and you will be able to use your muxed files in vcdimager.

I have read of 2 possibilities. One thing to try is to check the "PS" check box in the I-Author muxer and after it has finished change the file extension to mpg. I haven't personally gotten this to work. The other possibility that I have gotten to work is to use a program called "SubMux" on the mpg file after you have multiplexed the audio and video. This is being actively discussed on ttolls forum.http://www.ttoolforum.formativ.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=588&forum=25&21

I think it is also being incorporated into the next version of TSCV. This can put either SVCD or CVD style subtitles into the file.
