.MPG File Plays Shorter Than Duration

I have an .mpg file that by the size (about 100MB) should be pretty long. The problem is that it only plays for about 25 seconds. Now, I can access the rest of the video by clicking on the time bar, but it will still only play for however long is left of those 25 seconds. Its like the video or the imaging is compressed without compressing the size. This might be a really noob thing to ask, but I looked around and only found a similar post by militantmilo that did not have any replies. Please help!!!

Try play with VLC Media player or try repair it with videoredo using the quick stream fix.
