hey Guys, i got a movie on my computer, but the audi is in AC3, wich means i can't hear they talk on my stereos. i want to convert the audio to 2 channels (i think) mp3. i did already with xilisoft video converter, but the movie that was 680 MB gets bigger, to almost 1GB, and the video is the saame quality, i only change the audsio to MP3. anuy easier way to edit the audio without messin with the video?

Get the Lame dll for VirtualDub, load the avi, set video to direct stream, set audio to full processing, select and configure the mp3 codec, and save as a new AVI.

Did you set the video to Direct stream copy? If so the video size isn't changed.

yes, no the video is the same, and the audio works as i wanted, i wento to audio, full processing mode, then, compression, Lame mp3. Thsn to video, and direct stream copy. The video and audio work great, but the file itself has doubleded the size, from 680 MB to 1.1 Gb i guess i'm still doing something wrong, cause should be smaller than it was before, shouldn't it?

It should not have gotten bigger. at least not doubled in size. Drop it into Gspot 2.60 and it should show the audio/video sizes.

  8. Your audio is being converted to PCM WAV audio, and not MP3 audio.

...but the audi is in AC3, wich means i can't hear they talk on my stereos.

Why is that? Are you saying you can't hear the AC3 on the computer? Then install the AC3Filter, and quit trying to lower the quality of the audio.
