I probably asked this before, but it wasn't clear to me then.
Does x624 -qp mean something like:
give me 80% Quality /frame, no matter how complex or non-complex the frame is?
And does x264 -crf mean something like:
Yeah, you specified to encode each frame at 80% quality, but tell you what. If a scene is somewhat more complex and could do with a little more quality and bits,
I will grant it that extra quality. And if a frame needs far less than 80% Quality. It will be encoded in a lower quality scale in a way I (the encoder) see fit.
