Then it looks like you will have to wait for the next new version .... it should contain the updates needed to rip your dvd
-
All the rippers have been recently updated and Saw lll is no longer a problem. You may have a bad disc.
-
Even though it's new, try giving it a good cleaning. When ripping, try to close as many programs as possible that may be running in the background.
-
Are you sure your copy is legit? Saw III doesn't come out on video until 1/23/07.

Your friend who gave it as a gift didn't get it from one of the street merchants on Canal St did he or she?

DVD Fab Platinum is not the same as DVD Fab Decrypter. Use the tools suggested, not a best guess.
Read my blog here.

I also picked this up at my local walmart. They released it early and when I got home I downloaded the updates to dvdfab and still no luck. What happends is it will play fine but when I run it though dvdfab it says unable to get dvd infmation. I am stuck on what to do next as well.

Don't blame the tool's when "hardware / os" must also be taken into account , for such problem's .
Have a read of this first :
http://forum.rpc1.org/viewtopic.php?t=239
Then , if you need to go further , and the tool's are already up to date , then :
http://tdb.rpc1.org/ for bios .
This also depends on the disc being "official" ... if it is and problem's still appear , then :
A: Most user's don't mention how much work their drive's have actually done up to a point ... then it strikes .
B: Defective , scratched , dirty disc's used prior , may result in similar issue's ... clean the thing with a quality cd/dvd cleaning disc . -
Bjs I tried using dvdshrink + AnyDVD, DVDFAB DECRYPTER. No luck. Disk looks new and unscratched. I have to assume that the code has not been broken. But thanks for the comments.

I agree I have tried everything except ANYDVD. The disc is brand new, unscratched as well. Everything is up to date and I am still having no luck as well. I even uninstalled dvdfab and reinstalled it and still no luck. I just get the same thing happend as I posted up above and I also tried this on two computers as well.

I know you mentioned RipIt4Me, but have you tried "the whole route":
DVD Decrypter (the original) >RipIt4Me/FixVTS >DVD Shrink?"I'm sick of paying for dinner and being served cowshit, while they give the bums eating out of the garbage my meal."
