If the VOB files are part of a DVD, just use VOB2MPG to save them out as one MPEG file. Or an easier way is to use a program like FairUse Wizard to select the proper files and convert to Xvid or Divx in one step.

If you just have the VOBS, you can view them with VLC media player or other players and choose the ones you want. In general the first fullsize VOB of about 1GB is usually the first one in the set and the rest are numbered sequentially up to 4 or 5. The last one in the series will be smaller.

And by the way, MPLSDEUCE, typing in ALL CAPS is considered shouting on a forum and in poor taste and will not get you many answers, just complaints.

    And welcome to our forums.

Since you seem to have all the DVD files, you might drop them into DVD Shrink and then reauthor the video to just the main movie. That DVD has more than the average structure, so you will generally need a program to separate out the main movie.

DVD Decrypter can also work to pick the main movie. Look to the bottom of the DVD Decrypter toolpage for some guides: https://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=DVD_Decrypter

Here's a guide for DVD to Divx with the freeware AutoGK: http://www.rita.lt/guides/AutoGK_DVDtoAVI.htm

Or using VirtualDub and other free tools: http://w1.312.telia.com/~u31220486/dvd2avi/dvd2avi.htm

Get yourself AutoGK, and load the VTS_01_0.IFO file. It should do the rest for you with minimal input.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  9. Or rip your DVD with DVD Decrypter in IFO mode and set the "File Splitting" option to None. You'll get one big VOB file.
