no picture just sound on video file from digital cam

I have a digital camera and when i upload the video file to my pc,all i get is sound and the picture is black.I have send the same file over the net to another pc and it plays fine.It used to play on my comp as well but now it does notI have installed all codec pack from downoad.com and i have no problems with any other files.When i go to "properties" of the video file and then look up under :video it says-video compression:AnelPotion.Not sure what that is.Anyone have any idea what could cause the problemThx

i took of the codec pack fro my pc still the same thing

Most Digital Camera video requires a MJPEG codec to play.

VLC has one built in and probably can play the audio and video. Editing in VirtualDub or Movie Maker requires a MJPEG codec be installed. Someone said XP SP2 included the MJPEG codec. I don't know since it was installed on my system by Vegas.
