  1. I've downloaded the contents of a home made DVD. It currently starts abruptly and ends abruptly. I would like it to start with a fade from black lasting approx 2 seconds and I would like the audio to fade in at the same time. I would like the picture to fade to black and the audio to fade out at the end.

Can anyone tell me how to do this step by step with Womble "MPEG Video Wizard DVD" or any other applications. Thanks

  2. On the timeline window, left click on the "Video Track" icon at the top and then above that left click on "Open File".Select the VOB and open it.Now that the video is in the Time Line, right click on the video and left click on "Fade..." or press Alt+F.On the "Clip Fades" window under "Video" change the first digit to 2 for both "begin" and "end".Make sure under "Unit" its set to "Second".Do the same under "Audio".

    Thats it,export.

  3. Cool, thanks.

The DVD is 2 VOBs long. That has faded in the first 2 seconds of the first VOB. How do I go about fading out the last 2 seconds of the second VOB?

  4. Move along the Time Line and click on the second VOB that was added and press Alt+F.Change the first digit to 2 for "Audio" and "Video" under "end".

Its basically how I told you but you need to select the second/last VOB.For the first VOB you only need to change the digit to 2 under "begin".

    Hope it helps.
