    last time when i convert an avi to dvd with tmpgenc 3xpress was in 2005 and work very well...i try again now but the tmpgenc 3xpress d'ont work propetly...when i load the avi (with subtitle) he tell me ''VFAPIFreame '' d'ont work and the tmpgenc cannot open the video file , only the audio file...but when i removed the subtitle tmpgenc load the avi and evrything is ok...what i must to do for i can convert avi to dvd with subtitles with tmpgenc 3 xpress??...thanks

    I don't use TMPGEnc Express, but the regular TMPGEnc DVD Author doesn't support subtitles, so Express may have the same problem. Someone more familiar with the program may be able to give you better advice.

    thanks guys...but i d'ont think is need to delete the programs because i work with him many times and was very good...but now is this problem with videofilter(only if is the subtitle) and maibe somebody know how i fixed...thanks again

    If you need to have subtitles with your video, you will probably need to use a different authoring program if TMPGEnc won't work for you. Look to this post for some suggestions: https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=1293730#1293730

    You might try ConvertXToDVD. It's one of the better programs for AVI type file conversions to DVD with subtitles; . There is also an older freeware version, DivxToDVD.

    And I think bottle-necked was referring to his post, not your software.

    thanks for try help me guys...i try found what is the problem...i think can be from the codecs...i work with K-LITE MEGA CODEC PACK, and when i remove he tell me d'ont found a xvidvfw.dll...but when i install again this dll was in his place in system32...i try with dvdsanta , but this give me an error from begin...i want download the convertXtoDVD but when was finish my antivirus prg (mcafeee) deleted the convertxtodvd.exe)...i stoped the antivirus and i install the prg...today i will try with convertxtodvd...
