an error occured when audio is decoded (TMPGEnc)

Can anyone please help, when i try to encode divx(avi)to vcd(mpeg)in TMPGEnc i ocassionally get the error above, first of all can anyone tell me why this is, i have divx codecs 3.11 + 4.12 installed and the files play from my p.c fine, but i need to put them on vcd, i have tried to virtual dub and converted the sound to a wav file but when i put them back together as a vcd(PAL) in TMPGEnc the sound is always about a second out from the video, this is really getting my hair off as it takes me about a week to get it all right with a sound editor. any suggestions ? ? ?

for the out of sync. set the sound to start a sec after the video (or the outher way around) what you mux it.
i dont know if tmpgenc can this but iauthor can.

I have this problem also, anyone know why??
