Have a DivX with 24fps... need to make it an SVCD, PAL or NTSC doesn't matter. The best choice I guess...

What do I do? I know I have read something about a Pulldown
function what's that cause I think I read the nuimber 24 and 23 in the same place... or can I just convert it with TMPGenc as usual and not think about this?

    What do I do?

    Thanx/

You don't need to convert the framerate if your dvd player supports NTSC. Just encode it to NTSC-FILM, which is 24 fps (actually it's 23,976 fps) and your dvd player will play it in 30 fps NTSC on your television.

So the 24fps to 23.976 would not be a differeance of 0.024 fps /second?

    I've never done SVCD, but...

Don't you have to apply the 3:2 pulldown for SVCD? From what I understand, you encode at 23.967 frames, and you NEED to apply a 3:2 pulldown to it for it to play correctly on most players.

For VCD's thogh, you can have the 23.967 frames and be fine (it's supported for VCD)...
