Excuse me if this is a stupid question, but I'm new to all this conversion stuff. I want to know if you record on a DVD disk the picture is automatically recorded in MPEG2 format? I want to know because I understand that MPEG2 offers the best quality out of the two (MPEG 1 AND 2).
