The last couple times I tried to join 2 AVI files, it cut out the last 20 min to half hour of the 2nd AVI. Can anyone help me out, or suggest another program to join video files for the mac. Any help is appreciated!

  3. I use VisualHub for joining f.avi file and for making them into DVd. Very easy; Just load your .avi
file. click on the stichs videos together box and hit start. Depends on your Mac's speed and the lenght of the files. Also it is great for making episodes DVD's and converting file to other formats. Check it out.

You can use the Save As AVI component for QT Pro included in the Extras folder that comes with MPEG Streamclip to edit, mix or join AVI or MOV files and save them into an AVI container without recompresing audio and video.

I agree with ffooky: D-Vision is your friend. It's free, it works, it's fast. What's not to like?

Remember the .avi container can't hold more than 2GB.
