I have a Flash applet which I placed text over the top of with an I-frame. I am able to click the Flash applet and the text remains on top, but when I click on the text are and then click back on the applet area the text disappears. In IE if I use the scroll wheel the text returns, but in Firefox it remains underneath.

Try by editing the flash and the text to the flash. If you don't have the original files, use a .SWF decompiler to obtain the .SWF
