creating menu and chapters

O.K. I'm a real newb at this. I converted an avi file to dvd using winavi. How do I go about adding a menu and chapters to the dvd before burning. Is there a tutorial that will tell me how to do that? Thanks.

Convert to dvd mpg in winavi and then use an authoring tool.

<-- Click on Author in the menu.
<-- Click on Tools and DVD Authoring in the menu.

Or use ConvertXtoDVD. It does a better job than WinAVI, and gives you a simple menu and chapters at regular intervals
