How to add subtitles to a movie? (I'm new to this)

Hello, I have Batman movie and I would like to watch it with English subtitles in my computer.
I have read through this forum, but I don't seem to find the answer to my problem. It is really not a problem, it is just that I am new to this and I don't know how to add the subs to the movie which seems to be obvious to everybody , and what program to use for doing so.
The files I have are:
"Batman.1989.DVDRip.XviD-Leinekuh.CD1"
"Batman.1989.DVDRip.XviD-Leinekuh.CD2".

They came with their respective subtitles:
"Batman.CD1.DVDRip.XviD-Leinekuh.srt"
"Batman.CD2.DVDRip.XviD-Leinekuh.srt"

I already have the english subtitles.

Just buy it on dvd with subtitles instead of downloading warez.
