when i put the code 9735 it brings up the menu but will not allow me to arrow up to the region selection is there a password i need to enter so that i cant change it?
any help would be great

I try to call Conia, and even them don't seem to understand the problem...

This may be stupid but there again often the stupid things can be just what's needed.
When you put the code in it will take you to the menu and position on the region code. You have to press the right arrow to move across to the region before you can then move up and down to select the region you want. Then when down, left arrow to move back to the option to exit menu. -
Hi guys
I just discovered this one, it works for a variety of Conia DVD models with hard drive.
UNLOCK CODE FOR CONIA MR2501HD and a few models up:
1 switch off and on
2 in the numberic keypad type "0086000"
4 press enter, and a "0" should appear on the screen.
5 switch off and on using remote control and your away!!!

Yeah i am from sydney and i am having the same issue, i get the menu ...i see the region button but cant go up to it! i guess we got a dodgey model that wont let us change it?!
