  1. I just got this PC, it looks like it was a custom made one. Its got an ASUS motherboard. I ran a program called "DriverGuide ToolKit" which identified hardware with missing drivers. The item I apparently need the driver for is the "Ethernet Controller" (which is what it is listed as in Device Manager). The DriverGuide ToolKit called it the nForce Networking Adapter. I looked around and I'm unsure what driver I need for this, because its a network adapter thats attached to the hard drive, not a PCI card network adapter.

A link to a driver would be greatly appreciated

I've attached a copy of what Belarac Hardware Advisor said, so you can look at it and see all the hardware that I have on there. The file opens in internet explorer. Just click that link below my email address:

You need to find out the model of the ASUS motherboard then go to the ASUS website and download the "ETHERNET CONTROLLER" driver. The "ETHERNET" connection is probably built into the motherboard not to the hard drive. In other words there's no need for a PCI network card since it's built into the motherboard.

Yep, most mobo manufacturers offer all drivers for a particular mobo on their website in the Support or Downloads section. The model number should be printed somewhere on the board.
    If in doubt, Google it.
