Newbie here- I had a power outage and after that I get error reading" Media Center Receiver Service has encountered a problem and has to close : the error info reads : szAppName:ehrecvr.exe szAppVer: 5.1.2715.2812 AND szModName CinemasterAudio.DLL szModVer:2.8.6.1418 offset 0000c76"

Sounds like this is running on a pc (HTPC)? You can try reinstalling the software or performing a restore back to a date when it was working. Sounds like some files were corrupted.
If it is a standalone piece of hardware, you could try resetting it or taking it in for service.Google is your Friend -
thanks much- I did that three times before it worked- why I don't know- It's running on Dell 9150 which came with the installed Media Center so I could not isolate the tuner. When I spoke to the Dell people- three of them- they all had a diff. idea- - your's worked. Thanks again. sirzack
