    Hello,
I tried posting in the software section but got no response.
    So Ill try here.
Just about what DVD rom I should buy to be able to watch all regions?
Is it the software that makes it possible to watch all regions ? Or is it the device itself?
Hope someone can at least point me in the right direction.
    Cheers

As of January 1 2000, all DVD-ROM's sold for computers are RPC-2, the region info is stored in the firmware and u have to flash the firmware which can ruin the drive and not every drive has a flash avalible.

For set tops, most APEX's r hackable as well as Pioneers.
