    hi all

i recently got a laptop which came with NTI CD & DVD Maker 7 Gold... i tried it out and was pretty dissappointed... it seemed to burn the cd okay, but while i was dragging files to be burnt it would occasianally freeze up for a few seconds...? any ideas why that could be.... havent had any problems at all with anything else...

i have always used NERO... which i think is the best...

i do have a copy of NERO which came with my burner in my desktop... would i be able to get that working on my laptop? i think it is an OEM version tho..

Usually, any OEM versions of Nero that come bundled with a burner, only work with that burner. You could still try it. If it doesn't work you are only out a few minutes of installation and removal time.

Later OEM Neros work with any burner (6.x). Nero 5 had more restrictions.

Older versions someimtes conflicted with each. It seems to vary from user to user. They should work without any problem, but the only way to know is to try.
