    Hi,

I have two backups of the same movie.

The first backup consists of 6 VOBs with bit rate of 5988 each with running time of 18 to 22 minutes each.

The second one consists of 4 VOBs with bit rate of 3226 kb/s each and running time of about 31 min each.

Could somebody please advise what are advantages and disadvantages of the two backups. Thank you!

  2. The higher bitrate one is probably higher quality but will not fit on a single layer DVD. The lower bitrate one is probably lower quality but will fit on a single layer DVD.

Did you buy two copies of the same movie, or just use different methods to back them up ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

    jagabo, thank you!

That was my guess too. I did not notice any quality difference but it was probably I was watching them on my PC screen.

jimmalenko, yes, I just tried the second way to do it.
