  1. I have a downloaded avi. Probably is DIVX, I don't know, and I have no idea how to find out, but ..

    .. the problem is in TMPENgc when hit Browse button Video source I got the message : File " zzzzzz.avi " can not open, or unsupported. But when I try to play in Media Player is working fine.

    The same with all my 19 movies !!!

    PS And yes the final idea is to write a vcd to play into my DVD player.
    If you know a better way how to do please post, and help .

    Try this. Go to option > enviromental setting > VFAPI plugins, right click on Direct show multimedia file reader and click "higher priority" until it is on top of the list.
