I have an "Items Technology" Much TV USB 2.0 capture device (kind of a clone of this one)

I'd like to capture videos using an other program rather than TV USB 2.0 bundled with the device, which sucks.
But I have a lot of problems:
    VirtualDub can't see the device.
VirtualVCR only sees video, no audio
Video DVD Maker crashes as soon as I start it
    DScaler can't see the device
    FlyCao can't see the device
SplitCam, which is "seen" by all above programs, sees the device, but outputs a distorted and useless video stream (why???)

Which freeware program should I use to capture from an USB device???

Something that *might* be worth a try is the old Microsoft AMCAP capture utility
(this is not the same as the shareware AmCap that is listed in VideoHelp tools section)
It sometimes works with USB devices when others won't.

    You can download from this
    LINK

    it's only 52 kb.
Very basic and No-Frills, but might work for you.
