  1. I don't know what MySpace does with video. Places like YouTube convert everything to FLV so it's not an issue. But if MySpace leaves the file as-is then yes, anyone who wants to watch it will need Xvid or Divx (or some other MPEG4 part 2 decoder). I would have used WMV instead but I don't normally use WMV so the only program I have that will create it is Windows Movie Maker. And that stopped working for some reason a while back. Maybe I'll try transferring the video to another one of my computers and convert it there.

    I tried uploading it on myspace and it failed, it doesnt list .avi under acceptable formats so im guessing thats what it is.
