I am looking to get a DVD Recorder to take advantage of the DVR Box I have to move movies onto DVD.
I have an HDTV and have DVD's from UK, Asia and US, so was also looking for a hack for the suggested machine.
I was going to get the Philips DVP5960, though no recording functionality. The DVDR3400 doesnt upscale ?
Samsung DVD-R135 has upconversion but appears to be no hacks for regions and the Toshiba D-R5 has mixed reviews and no hacks ?
Ultimately I am looking for a reasonable DVD recorder, that is Multiregion (hacked) and has HD upconversion.
Can anyone recommend anything. (I have the DVP5140 player at the moment)
Thanks
