hi there,
i have made vcd's with nero burning rom, however the entire process of making a vcd from a dvd rip is long and a strain on both my hard-disk-drive and cpu.
so in light of this information i was wondering if there was a way to copy my vcd's straight to cd-r like when you copy psx games, if not possible then who has a link to vcd copying guides.
help appreciated, ideas welcome
cheers

the way i know is to copy the .dat files which are the vid files over and then burn the vcd just like you did the first time except instead of mpeg files they are .dat files....

Coping the "DAT" file should be your last recourse when all else has failed.
VCDs are like any other type of CD and can be copied with a simple DAO copier (e.g., the Copy CD functions in Nero, or CDRWin, or Clone CD, etc.)
