Hey people i just wanted to know is it possible to make a menu in photoshop (design a still background picture) and also the buttons on it and then add the file to TSUNAMI-MPEG DVD Author PRO

Or can i only make the background and would have to add buttons seperate with TSUNAMI-MPEG DVD Author PRO?

So can someone please let me know if its possible for me to make a menu in photoshop and import that into TSUNAMI-MPEG DVD Author PRO so it becomes a proper menu.

    Thanks Chana

I have TMPGEnc DVD Author v1.5 (I don't use it any more - I use DVDLab Pro) and that can import PSD files - but I've never used it and don't know if it will recognise any layers that are present; if, that is you can have layers in a PSD file - I can't remember.

Simple answer - give it a go and see.

EDIT: I tried it out and the layers in a PSD file aren't recognised by TDA v1.5. However, DVDLab does recognise layers in the PSD file.

If TDA won't do what you want, consider DVDLab (or the Pro version) as that will definitely recognise the layers - I use PNG files though...

There are other authoring tools that recognise layers too - check them out the "Tools" section by clicking the link to the left.
