Ok, sorry if I sound like a total amature, but I'm having problem compiling DVDs after finished putting one together. For some reason the program won't compile a DVD folder (i.e. no AUDIO_TS or VIDEO_TS files are created), instead, I think it creates some random invisible dummy files that I'm not sure how it works.

Here's the log, could someone please tell me how to actually turn a project into a dvd and burn it?

Project -> Compile DVD. Make sure "Test Compile" isn't ticked under Advanced Options.

Yes, I did do that. Here's an updated version of my problem:

I'm trying to put 39 movies (39 short video clips) into 1 dvd (each one is about 3~4minutes), and the program won't compile my file. (It says compiling is done on the log, but no file is actually created)

But on the other hand, when I tried with the exact same design, menu, etc, but I deleted 36 movies, and left only 3 movies, and the program compiles for me perfectly.

Is there a number limit to how many movies can be on one dvd? If so, is there a way to avoid that? E.g. putting 39 clips onto one movie track anbd make them into 1 big movie with 39 chapters instead(which as far as I know cannot be done on DVD-lab PRO, could someone explain to me how)

P.S. The videos are in different sizes, so I'm not sure if I can merge those clips onto one movie.

Actually, you ca combine them into a single object with chapter stops at the start of each one - it is called a Movie Segment in DLP 1.x and a Multi-PGC title in DLP 2.x. Read about it i the help files to make sure your movies match the criteria required.

Usually if you have issues compiling and removing objects helps, it indicates an issue with one or more of the objects. You could starting adding them back in small groups until it breaks againm then narrow it down to which object in that group is the problem.

Thank you so much guns1inger, this time it actually worked, after I put all my clips in Multi-PGC. Although there is a small flaw, (I won't die if I can't have it solved, but it would be nice if I could solve it). When I tested the compiled DVD folder on Power DVD, it plays fine but it will not allow me to jump to a specific part of the video using the navigation bar, only fast forward works. Is there a user command thing that I forgot to enable in the DVD files? Thanks.

This nasty little bug used to happen to me. Check your assets window and make sure each audio and video file has a runtime no more than 2 seconds in difference. If for example the audio finishes 3 seconds after the video it can make dvdlab go into stupid mode. Trim the inflated files and you can author them as separate movies.

Sorry I can't help with the Powerdvd thing. Its been a while and my memory is rusty.
