    i'm trying to find a good program to convert movie files (primarily for ipod format) and i'm wondering what you guys would recommend. i'm using a free trial program right now and i found this link.

    is it any good? or would you recommend something else??

    any help is appreciated. thanks in advance

    The Operating System for Macs. ffmpegx is a graphic interface for ffmpeg and other tools, on the Mac.

    For Windows, you can try Videora iPod Converter, SUPER, and others. (Note: ffmpeg (no 'x') is cross-platform, and these two tools (along with others) use it as well.)

  5. if you using windows you could try the "hack" i did. it's at www.geocities.com/j.kint thus far people seem to like it. if using Mac OSX use FFmpegX it's the best.
