  1. When producing a VCD VP5 player can show it, and it works also well on stand alone DVD. When producing a SVCD no internal player will recognize the file and a stand alone DVD can not play the CD. The video material used is exported from Premier 6, as an AVI file and encoded with TMPGENC v.2. Why will VP5 only produce a VCD set of files ?

  2. Look in the help file for SVCD. It mentions that some players do not support the file/directory layout it produces as standard and you need to set a registry key...

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CeQuadrat\VideoPack]
    "svcdVer"=dword:00000001

    To use the old sytle layout.
